Hope Fire puts out burning pickup truck early Sunday morning

HOPE — The Hope Fire Department says its members have tackled an early-morning vehicle fire in the Othello Road area today (June 28).

At around 2 a.m., six firefighters and three apparatus responded to a burning pickup truck near Othello Road and quickly prevented the fire from spreading into the nearby forest.

“A fast, effective response ensured the incident was contained with no further risk to the community,” said Hope Fire.
