ABBOTSFORD — A 48-year-old woman has been taken into custody after proactive patrols led police to the seizure of several drugs earlier this week.

On Wednesday (May 27), just before 3 p.m., patrol officers arrested the Abbotsford woman after spotting suspected drug activity in the 32400 block of South Fraser Way.

Police then found knives, cash and six packaged drugs weighing a total of over 100 grams, including fentanyl, on the suspect.

“AbbyPD reminds those involved in the drug trade that the possession and sale of illegal drugs are criminal offences,” said the Abbotsford Police Department. “Such activities not only break the law but also pose serious risks to public safety and the well-being of our community.”
