1 in hospital after rear-ender on 240th Street Friday afternoon

LANGLEY — A section of 240th Street in Langley has been blocked off after a serious crash between a pick-up truck and another vehicle Friday afternoon.

Emergency vehicles were paged out to the collision at 240th Street and 56th Avenue at around 12:50 p.m., where a rear-ender took place at the 50 km/h zone.

Images from the scene show the bumper of a white work pick-up truck landing in the other vehicle’s rear window.

BCEHS told Fraser Valley Today that an ambulance with primary care paramedics attended the scene and gave emergency medical care to one patient.
