Abbotsford Canada Day parade accepting applications for participation

ABBOTSFORD — Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Canada Day parade in Abbotsford.

The theme of the parade is Roots & Rhythm, to symbolize the celebration of the heartbeat of the community.

The organizing committee says it is inviting participants to honour the traditions, stories and histories that showcase and reflect the energy of Abbotsford. 

All floats are required to follow the Roots & Rhythm theme and reflect the diversity of the community.

Applications are being accepted through the parade website with an application deadline of Friday, May 22.
