B.C. man killed in logging truck, pickup crash on Highway 97 near Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE — British Columbia’s Highway Patrol is urging drivers in the northern Interior to use extra caution amid wintry conditions after two deadly crashes within 24 hours.
Officers were called to a crash on Monday afternoon between a logging truck and a pickup on Highway 97 north of Prince George.
The 67-year-old man driving the pickup died, while a 29-year-old man from Alberta driving the logging truck had minor injuries.
Police say it happened on the same day as another fatal crash south of Prince George also on Highway 97, although no details have yet been released.
