Abbotsford hospital lockdown ended following earlier weapons threat

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford police have arrested one man following a serious incident involving the threat of weapons at the Abbotsford Hospital.
Police say they were called to the hospital Monday in the early afternoon following a complaint about weapons.
The hospital was placed in a lockdown as police scoured the building to identify the danger.
Following a full search of the hospital, police say the building is safe, have lifted the lockdown and say there is no public safety risk.
