First responders search for missing man approximately 37 kms up Chilliwack Lake Road: RCMP
CHILLIWACK — A spokesperson for the Chilliwack RCMP detachment says first responders have been searching for a missing man for at least two days now after he was reported missing in the Chilliwack River Valley.
According to a statement from RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener, Chilliwack Mounties have been working with Chilliwack Search and Rescue personnel 37 kilometres up Chilliwack Lake Road to search for a man reported missing by his family.
As of Sunday morning, Corporal Kiener says the man is believed to have travelled to the area on Thursday night and has not been heard from since.
The man was last seen by his family on Thursday night, March 5.
