CHILLIWACK — Hiring is now underway for Chilliwack’s newest grocery store.

According to its website, Nature’s Fare Markets is currently hiring for a number of positions ahead of its projected opening date later this year at 45940 Promontory Road, Building A, in Chilliwack, part of the Andmar development.

The company says it is currently hiring for an assistant store manager, food services department manager, pharmacist, pharmacy manager, store team leader, and store team member.

Store team members are paid $18.25 an hour to $19.50 an hour with benefits like a discount on groceries of up to 25 per cent, and an educational allowance.

The store is currently projected to open in June 2026.

Nature’s Fare Markets has locations in Kelowna, Kamloops, Langley, Penticon, Vernon, West Kelowna and White Rock.

The company describes itself as being based in British Columbia and is constantly growing.

“People before profit is a key part of how we work and we ensure our employees experience work life balance, benefits with flexibility, and a company that is accountable to its staff,” the company wrote on its website. “As advocates for our employees, we focus on developing our team so they can achieve their personal career goals within our company. We proudly share that 67% of our managers have grown within, 30% of our employees have been with us for over 5 years, and 72% of our employees are female.”

There will be other businesses at Andmar. Fraser Valley Today has learned that an animal hospital will lease 2,563 square feet at 4-46189 Thomas Road. It is expected to open in late summer or early fall 2026, according to Naz Diva, broker for William Wright Commercial Real Estate Services.

In addition to an animal hospital and Nature’s Fare, Andmar will feature Pure Pharmacy and a 20,000-square foot Willowbrae daycare.

Andmar wrote in a year-end update just two months ago that December closed out 2025 with Phase 1 “making a strong impression on the Sardis skyline.”

“With all four buildings taking form and a dynamic mix of uses throughout, we look forward to showcasing our outstanding tenants in the year ahead,” Andmar wrote on Dec. 26, 2025.
