Earlier in the week on Tuesday (Nov. 15), the RCMP conducted a Senior Safety presentation for Elim Village residents.

“Excited to offer our Senior Safety presentation to the residents of Elim Village!” Chilliwack RCMP wrote on Twitter. “It’s always great to connect with our community! Great turn out and some really good discussion. Working together to keep our Seniors safe!”

The emotional highlight of the week was undoubtedly the RCMP’s participation in Remembrance Day, where several members attended the ceremonies at the downtown Chilliwack cenotaph.

“Remembrance Day in Chilliwack,” the RCMP wrote. “Age will not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them,” followed by the hashtag of Lest We Forget.
