Ridge Meadows RCMP seek woman missing for over a week

MAPLE RIDGE — Police in Maple Ridge are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

On December 29, at around 4 a.m., RCMP say 37-year-old Shannon Samms was last seen in the 21600 block of Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge.

She’s described as an Indigenous woman, standing at 4’11” and 96 pounds, with medium-length black hair and brown eyes.

Samms was last seen wearing track pants, a jacket and a baseball cap in all-black, as well as a white shirt.
