New restaurant offering pulled pork, tacos, sandwiches and more could open soon in Sardis

CHILLIWACK — A new venue offering pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ beef brisket sandwiches, tacos, pizza and other food could open soon in Sardis.

Multiple signs have been mounted outside unit 111 at 7491 Vedder Road in Sardis, indicating that Saboos could be opening soon in a retail storefront where Creata Beauty once operated.

Three signs affixed to the exterior of the store advertise certain grand opening specials.

For example, a pulled pork sandwich featuring freshly cut coleslaw, lettuce and signature chipotle sauce is advertised as $10.99 plus tax for a limited time.

Another sign lists two tacos for $6.99, featuring your choice of beef, chicken, pork, fish or veggie mixed with fresh fiery roasted marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese and freshly cut premium local toppings.

The third sign features a sandwich containing slow-smoked, premium AAA beef brisket between two ciabatta buns, topped with arugula, and your choice of chipotle or creamy roasted garlic sauce for $12.99.

On its beef brisket sign, Saboos also indicates it will offer pizza, sandwiches and wraps.

Fraser Valley Today reached out to Chris van Vliet, Managing Director, Fraser Valley, from William Wright Commercial Real Estate Services for any information about the possible new restaurant; his name is listed on a sign outside the commercial shopping centre at 7491 Vedder Road.

He told Fraser Valley Today he represented the landlord and didn’t have as much information about the tenant or when the eatery might open its doors, but did suggest Saboos could be linked to a company named Saboos in North Vancouver.

That company, Saboos Bread Factory Ltd., contains an image of a grain of wheat similar to the Saboos restaurant that could open at 111-7491 Vedder Road near Staples.

A previous business named Creata Beauty occupied the space where Saboos could be coming. Its sign is still located atop the vacant space at 111-7491 Vedder Road.

According to the Creata Beauty Chilliwack Facebook page, its lease ran out on Nov. 1, 2025. It reopened on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 47336 Brewster Place in Chilliwack.

“What does this mean for our very valued customers? A difference of a 10-minute driving distance,” Creata Beauty Chilliwack posted to social media on October 24. “You can still pick up your products- we can deliver or have them shipped out … so it will be business as usual. We appreciate your time and patience while we navigate through this transition. During the down time if you are needing products please call us as we will deliver them right to your door.”
