SPCA seeks owner of dog found deceased in Chilliwack Saturday

CHILLIWACK — The BC SPCA in Chilliwack is asking for the public’s help in finding the owner of a dog that seemed to have been struck by a vehicle.

The animal nonprofit responded to the call involving a young female black shepherd this morning, December 27, in the 46400 block of Chilliwack Lake Road.

“Unfortunately, she did not survive,” said the SPCA. “She is now at our centre.”

Anyone with information about her owner or anyone looking for her is asked to contact the Chilliwack SPCA staff at 604-823-6612.

“Our hearts go out to her family. We are truly sorry for your loss.”
