Rollover leads to power outage

Rollover leaves 900+ Hydro customers without power Thursday night in Mission

MISSION — A rollover in Mission Thursday night left over 900 BC Hydro customers without power for several hours.

While power has since been restored, the rollover caused an outage impacting 908 customers.

A Mission-area resident reported on social media that the power outage lasted all night from approximately 9:55 p.m. until 7 a.m. Friday morning.

The accident happened on Dewdney Trunk Road between Cedar Street and Richards Avenue.

The Pulse Point app indicates paramedics were notified about a motor vehicle accident at 9:54 p.m. Two ambulances from Abbotsford responded. The ambulances were cleared from the incident at 11 p.m.
