Shoplifter who stole over $400 of merchandise sought in Mission: RCMP
MISSION ā Mounties in Mission are appealing to the public for help in identifying a shoplifter who stole hundreds of dollars in merchandise from a grocery store earlier this month.
According to a news release from Mission RCMP spokesperson Corporal Harrison Mohr, a loss prevention officer from a grocery store contacted police on Saturday night, Nov. 8 at around 9:30 p.m. after a person left the store with unpaid merchandise. The shoplifter was not immediately located.
Corporal Mohr says a review of CCTV footage revealed that an employee confirmed the shoplifter left with over $420 in merchandise.
Police say the offender is described as a South Asian male, wearing a black and white varsity jacket with a large āCā on the front, black pants with unique writing on the legs, and red and white shoes.
