Man arrested after breaking into Abbotsford construction site, stealing a generator

ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford say one man has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a construction site earlier this week and stole a generator.

According to a statement sent to Fraser Valley Today from the Abbotsford Police Department, AbbyPD officers were called to the 2100 block of McCallum Road in Abbotsford just after 8 p.m. Monday evening (Oct. 12) after receiving reports of a break and enter at a construction site.

When police arrived, they located an individual with a generator in hand. That man was taken into custody.

Another individual originally believed to be related to the crime was also questioned, but police determined that suspect was not involved in the offence, the AbbyPD said.
