ABBOTSFORD – Community members, parents and SD34 staff are invited to attend an upcoming forum featuring candidates for the Abbotsford Board of Education ahead of next month’s election.

The Abbotsford District Parent Advisory Council will host the forum on Thursday, October 1 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Abbotsford Arts Centre, located at 2329 Crescent Way.

Abbotsford DPAC says the event is an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates running for Abbotsford school trustee in the October 17, 2026 municipal election, learn about their priorities, and ask questions about issues that matter to students, families, and the community.

All candidates running for Abbotsford school trustee are invited to participate. Candidates must confirm their attendance by emailing support.dpac.sd34@gmail.com by September 24, 2026.

Abbotsford DPAC says it is hosting this meeting as a public service to help voters make informed decisions. Abbotsford DPAC does not endorse any candidate.

Community members may submit questions in advance by emailing support.dpac.sd34@gmail.com no later than noon on September 24, 2026. Similar questions will be combined, and due to time limitations, not all submitted questions may be asked. Questions will not be taken from the floor during the meeting.

Attendance is free, but registration is requested. Attendees are asked to kindly RSVP through the event registration page on the Abbotsford DPAC website.
