4 fires near E.C. Manning Park now being held
NEAR MANNING PARK, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Four wildfires that had been burning for roughly six weeks near E.C. Manning Park are now being held.
The BC Wildfire says the four fires combined are over 3,046 hectares. They include the Big Burn Creek wildfire (898.5 ha), the Daynar Creek wildfire (654.76 ha), the Porcupine Creek blaze (153 ha), and the Norwegian Creek wildfire (1339.77 ha).

Three of the four wildfires were discovered on July 17, while a smaller fire, Porcupine Creek, was discovered on July 18. All four were caused due to suspected lightning.
