Transit fares in Chilliwack to increase in September, seasonal routes to end soon
CHILLIWACK – Transit fares will increase next month and service on seasonal routes in the Chilliwack and Harrison area will discontinue in the coming weeks.
In a statement, BC Transit, the FVRD and the City of Chilliwack have announced changes to transit fares and schedules that will take effect in early September.
Starting Sunday, Sept. 6, fares will increase for conventional and handyDART riders in Chilliwack only.
Single-ride passes will increase from the current rate of $2.25 by 25 cents to $2.50.
