District of Hope looking for election workers at $25/hour

HOPE – Residents of Hope who are looking for some seasonal income on a temporary basis are invited to work as election officials in this fall’s municipal election, but the clock is ticking.

The District of Hope says there’s one day left to apply as it looks to hire election officials at $25 per hour for advance voting days and general voting day in October.

Advance voting days are Wednesday, October 7 and Wednesday, October 14. General voting day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17.

The application deadline to apply is Friday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m.

Previous election experience is an asset but not required. Paid training will be provided to selected applicants.
