Mission RCMP announces new officer-in-charge

MISSION — Mission Mounties have now welcomed a new officer-in-charge, following Inspector Ted Lewko’s departure in early May.

Inspector Ray Monsef joins the detachment as a long-time member of the RCMP, spending his entire service in the Lower Mainland across various roles in operations, investigation and frontline policing.

“I am honoured to have been selected as the Detachment Commander for the Mission RCMP,” said Insp. Monsef. 

“After 26 years in this profession, I have learnt that policing is built on trust, relationships, and service and I am looking forward to engaging with the community, working with law enforcement partners and supporting the officers and staff at the Detachment.”
