City of Chilliwack still hopes to fix bumpy road near Townsend Park this summer
CHILLIWACK – An orange construction sign mounted near Townsend Park several months ago told Chilliwack motorists that Wolfe Road would be repaired sometime this summer.
Roughly one month into summer, the road still hasn’t been fixed, following a public works project earlier this year turned the road into a bumpy ride in both directions of Wolfe Road.
Fraser Valley Today contacted the city’s communications department last week to see if the city will still have it rehabilitated this summer.
In their response, the city still hopes to see it fixed sometime this summer.
