ROSEDALE – A Rosedale property containing a restaurant that’s been in business for 30 years in Chilliwack is now up for sale.

The property at 52845 Yale Road, home of the Wildcat Grill, has an asking price of $4.5 million, according to a real estate listing from commercial realtors Stuart and Dennis Muxlow of Royal Lepage Wheeler Cheam in Chilliwack.

The real estate listing says the 1.1-acre property offers long-term value conveniently located in a high-traffic Rosedale area, featuring excellent highway access surrounded by new residential and commercial development.

The property itself features a large main building with a solid long-term commercial tenant, in addition to a shop/suite and a residential tenancy in place.

The property has future multi-family development potential, the real estate listing stated.

“The possibilities here are endless,” the listing stated.

There are plans afoot to build four quick-serve restaurants, a car wash, gas station and a commercial retail building just south of the nearby Petro Canada gas station.

According to the Wildcat Grill website, it has been serving Chilliwack since 1996. Independently owned and operated, the Wildcat Grill welcomes patrons to relax and unwind in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

It is home of the famous “Rowdy Rosedale Burger,” served on half a loaf of French bread with three half-pound patties, bacon, cheese and all the trimmings. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, according to its website.
