No one hurt after vehicle strikes telephone pole on Yale Road

CHILLIWACK — Traffic had been stalled for a short time after a single-vehicle collision on Yale Road Saturday afternoon (July 11).

First responders attended the incident at 12:24 p.m., where a car reportedly struck what witnesses say appeared to be a telephone pole.

BCEHS says one ambulance responded to the scene, but no patients were taken to hospital.

Firefighters blocked off a section of the road between Nevin Road and Aberdeen Crescent, with traffic backed up to Ford Road roughly 20 minutes after the incident. The road has since reopened.
