AGASSIZ-HARRISON – Members of the Agassiz-Harrison Lions Club are reinforcing their motto of “We Serve” every chance they get.
The Agassiz-Harrison Lions Club announced on Canada Day today that it is proud to donate $40,000 to the Agassiz-Harrison Aquanauts Swim Club toward much-needed equipment for use at the new Lets’emot Regional Recreation and Aquatic Centre (LRRAC).
A member of the club, Lion Darcy, was pleased to present the cheque on behalf of the club.
The Aquanauts have been a part of the Agassiz-Harrison community since 1978. They help develop strong swimming techniques, confident athletes, and lasting friendships among its participants.
