Man, 22, arrested after two alleged bank robberies in Surrey
SURREY — Police have now arrested a local man in relation to two bank robberies in Surrey earlier this week.
On June 6, at roughly 10:50 a.m., frontline officers responded to a report of a bank robbery near 104 Avenue and King George Boulevard after the suspect allegedly threatened staff by saying that he had a weapon, then leaving with money.
Two days later, around the same time, a similar report came in from a bank near 128 Street and 96 Avenue.
There were no reported injuries in either case.
