City of Chilliwack extends old bin pickup for a 2nd time

CHILLIWACK – For a second time now, the City of Chilliwack says it will extend the pickup of old bins and compost bins.
According to its latest update, the city now says the removal of old bins and green carts is being extended until June 15. The previous cutoff date was June 6.
The city is reminding residents that they may no longer need their old green cart if they:
- Received a new wildlife-resistant cart
- Ordered or exchanged a replacement cart during cart selection
- Reduced the number of services at your property
