Chilliwack youth arrested after refusing to leave bus during mischief call: RCMP
CHILLIWACK – Mounties in Chilliwack say they dealt with a case of mischief this past week after getting a report about unruly behaviour by youths aboard a city bus.
Chilliwack RCMP Corporal Carmen Kiener says police were called to an undisclosed location in Chilliwack after a transit operator notified authorities that there were several drunk and unruly youths disrupting operations.
Cpl. Kiener says a window on the bus had been damaged, but it could be determined which individual was responsible for the vandalism.
Police responded and officers removed the youths from the bus, Cpl. Kiener said. One youth became confrontational and refused to leave, resulting in their arrest.
