One driver dead, passengers injured in two-vehicle crash in Delta, B.C.

DELTA — Police in Delta, B.C., say one person is dead after a crash involving two vehicles in a residential area on Saturday.

They say one driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while several other occupants were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police did not say exactly how many people were involved in the crash, which occurred at the intersection of 118th Street and 75A Avenue.

They say collision analysts were called to collect evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
