Annual Run for Mom returns to raise funds for maternity unit at Chilliwack hospital

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack residents are invited to celebrate some of the most important women in their lives for a good cause this Mother’s Day.

The annual 5K Run for Mom is returning for its 26th year on May 10, with fundraising proceeds supporting the purchase of a much-needed new fetal monitor for the maternity department at Chilliwack General Hospital.

Participants can also expect door prizes, surprise giveaways and kids’ face painting before the event.
