37-year-old man, beloved father reported missing from Seabird Island

SEABIRD ISLAND (AGASSIZ) – A 37-year-old man and beloved father from Seabird Island near Agassiz has been reported missing.

According to a social media post from Seabird Island (Sq’éwqel), Dion Fraser Sr., a beloved father of five, has been reported missing.

He is described as approximately 5’11”, with a medium to heavy build, brown eyes, natural dark brown hair, and a resident of Seabird Island.

He was last seen in the Chawathil area on Thursday, April 2.

In an update posted by Seabird Island, the First Nation reserve says Mr. Fraser remains missing.

“We will continue searching and will notify the community when he is found,” Seabird Island Band said. “His family is missing him.”
