Canadian comedy-drama to set foot on Chilliwack stage in March
CHILLIWACK — A wholesome performance about a couple’s golden anniversary is shining on the Chilliwack Cultural Centre stage next month.
“The Golden Anniversaries”, performed by the Vancouver Arts Club, follows the story of Glen and Sandy Golden after Sandy decided to leave her other half – opening the pair up to a weekend rollercoaster of laughter and regret about sharing 50 years of marriage together.
“Mark Crawford captures the humour and emotional depth in everyday life with his sharp dialogue and witty writing,” said Ashlie Corcoran, Arts Club Theatre Company Artistic Director.
“Audiences of all ages can connect with these characters and recognize themselves and those around them in this heartfelt exploration of love, aging, and relationships.”
