Male hospitalized after stabbing in Abbotsford Saturday night: AbbyPD Sgt. Walker

ABBOTSFORD – Details are limited at this point, but an AbbyPD spokesperson has confirmed one person has been hospitalized after a reported stabbing Saturday evening in Abbotsford.

According to a brief statement from AbbyPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker, police were called to Mill Lake Park near the Bevan Road and Primrose intersection for a stabbing.

The call came in at 6:25 p.m., Sgt. Walker said.

One person has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The investigation is ongoing to determine what led up to this incident,” Sgt. Walker told Fraser Valley Today in a text message.
