Overnight traffic diversions on Hwy. 1 in the Fraser Valley could start Thursday night
LANGLEY – The B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Transit says motorists should expect roughly two weeks of overnight traffic diversions on Highway 1 in the Fraser Valley starting as early as tonight.
According to a statement from the province, the traffic diversions will occur on Highway 1 between Glover Road and 248 Street starting Thursday evening, Jan. 29, and continue until Thursday, Feb. 12.
The ministry says the work is weather dependent, and the diversions are necessary for the safe installation of girders for a new 232 Street interchange project.
* Diversions will be in place overnight from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. weekdays, and from 9 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. on weekends.
