Langley RCMP seek owner of new sinks suspected of being stolen

LANGLEY – Mounties in Langley say they have recovered a trailer containing a large quantity of new sinks and are hoping to return them to their rightful owner.

According to a statement from Langley RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, police in Langley located an extensive collection of new sinks inside a 53-foot trailer on Friday, January 23.

Police say investigators have spoken with the registered owner of the trailer, who confirmed the sinks do not belong to them. Police now believe the property might be unreported stolen goods and are working to identify the rightful owner.

“We believe these sinks may have been stolen and are asking the rightful owner to come forward,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. 

Anyone missing a shipment of sinks, or who has information that may assist investigators in reuniting the property with its owner, is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2026-2477.
