UPDATE: One person transported to hospital after big rig rolls over in Langley

UPDATE, 6 P.M. WEDNESDAY: BC Emergency Health Services says one person was transported to hospital after today’s motor vehicle incident on 16 Avenue in Langley.

“BC Emergency Health Services received a call at 2:57 p.m. today (January 28, 2026) about a motor vehicle incident in the 23500 block of 16 Avenue in Langley. An ambulance with primary care paramedics responded to the scene. Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital in stable condition,” BC EHS said in an emailed statement to Fraser Valley Today.

LANGLEY – A semi-truck has rolled over on 16 Avenue in Langley Wednesday afternoon, causing traffic disruptions through the area.

According to a brief statement at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday from the Langley RCMP detachment, a semi-truck rolled over in the 23400 block of 16 Avenue.

Traffic disruptions are in place while emergency crews work on scene.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area, expect delays, and use alternate routes if possible.

“Thank you for your patience and cooperation,” Langley RCMP said.

Pulse Point indicates that paramedics were notified about the accident at 2:55 p.m. today.

Fraser Valley Today has reached out to BC Emergency Health Services for information on whether there were any injuries to any occupants of the semi-truck.
