Abbotsford Canucks forward Arshdeep Bains recalled to Vancouver after latest injury

ABBOTSFORD — The Vancouver Canucks are pulling an Abbotsford forward back into the fray as Marco Rossi joins four other teammates on injured reserve.

Arshdeep Bains has had three goals and three assists in five games with Abbotsford, most recently scoring two goals in a 5-2 win against the Manitoba Moose on Wednesday, December 31.

The Surrey native also played 26 games with Vancouver, netting one goal and five assists this season.

Rossi has sustained a lower-body injury. Forwards Conor Garland, Teddy Blueger and Filip Chytil, as well as blueliner Derek Forbort, are also out.

The Vancouver Canucks are set to face off against the Seattle Kraken Friday night.
