UPDATE: DriveBC says Highway 1 is now clear between Chilliwack and Abbotsford for westbound motorists following this morning’s accident near Cole Road.

ABBOTSFORD/CHILLIWACK — DriveBC reports that a westbound vehicle incident at Cole Road (exit 99 on the eastbound side) in Abbotsford has the left lane blocked Wednesday morning.

DriveBC made the social media post at 7:09 a.m.

A Facebook commenter in the Fraser Valley Road Report group reported at 7:25 a.m. that a tow truck could be arriving soon and that the accident might be cleared.
