UFV promoting wellness and connection in upcoming health fair
CHILLIWACK — UFV is encouraging folks to stay warm through healthy habits and community connections this season at its upcoming Fall Health Fair in Chilliwack.
On Wednesday (Oct. 29), UFV Nursing and Kinesiology students will be on campus to share health-related information on topics such as seasonal affective disorder, sleep hygiene, chronic pain management and more.
Visitors can also grab free food and pet therapy, as well as vaccines for the cold and flu season.
“It’s an opportunity for people to see the beautiful Chilliwack campus, explore wellness resources, enjoy some pizza, and get their flu shot — all in one stop. Come learn something healthy, connect with others, and take care of yourself!” said Susan Stoneson, an associate professor and program head with the School of Health Studies.
