MAPLE RIDGE — Police have recently arrested suspects, as well as seized a number of drugs and stolen items after executing a search warrant in Maple Ridge.

Ridge Meadows RCMP’s Street Enforcement Unit worked with partners to search a property in the 12300 block of 224 Street that was possibly involved in drug trafficking operations.

Several individuals were taken into custody, and police also found varying drugs, firearms, stolen bicycles, mail and packages during the search.

“Our Street Enforcement Unit is a key component of Ridge Meadows RCMP’s approach to disrupting criminal activity and ensuring public safety in our community,” said Ridge Meadows RCMP Sergeant Trevor Hanson.

“Their mandate is wide-scoped and includes property crime, robbery, drugs, and Provincial Tactical Enforcement Priority (PTEP) offenders, often using covert techniques to advance investigations.”
