No criminality suspected after underground parkade death in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack police, fire crews and ambulance services were all on scene at an underground parking lot after someone had died in it late Wednesday morning (Sep. 24).
Multiple Chilliwack Fire Department units were called out to Market Way in Garrison shortly before 11 a.m.
BCEHS paramedics also attended, and RCMP were asked to attend so they could block the entrance to the parkade near Save-on-Foods.
“The Chilliwack RCMP were called to assist at the location following the report of a sudden death. At this time, there is no indication of criminality,” said Chilliwack RCMP.
