Chilliwack artist presents over 50 paintings in upcoming solo exhibit

CHILLIWACK — A renowned local artist is baring a little bit of all her work for an upcoming solo show this fall.

Evelyn Zuberbier is a founding member of the Chilliwack Visual Artists Association (CVAA).

Throughout her career, she has also won several awards from the Federation of Canadian Artists and served on the board of the Alberta Art Foundation, appointed by the Alberta Minister of Culture.

“Evelyn paints a variety of subjects inspired by anything that excites her creative spirit,” wrote the CVAA. “[She] is excited about her 14th solo show and looks forward to seeing all of you there.”

The exhibit and sale runs from September 4 to October 4 at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. An opening reception will be held on September 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Odlum Brown Art Gallery.
