CHILLIWACK — A national franchise with a presence in a thriving Chilliwack commercial shopping centre has hit the market with an asking price of over half a million dollars.

In July, a commercial real estate listing appeared on realtor.ca for the Mary Brown’s Chicken location near Save-On-Foods in the thriving Garrison Village shopping centre.

The listing for the Mary Brown’s location at 106-45655 Tamihi Way, located just a stone’s throw from Save-On, has an asking price of $588,800.

According to the real estate posting, the business is “well-established” in a great location featuring high traffic. The future owners could benefit from what the realtor says are “good profit margins.”

“This is a great opportunity to own a Mary Brown’s… and a rare opportunity to own a well-recognized franchise in a growing area of Chilliwack,” the listing from Goldy Kang Personal Real Estate Corporation stated. “There are limited opportunities in the area. There is a steady and loyal customer base, and it comes with a great lease in place with low rates, and operates with good profit margins.”

The Mary’s Brown space contains 1,836 square feet and was constructed in 2017. The strip mall at 45655 Tamihi Way, located across from the Cheam Leisure Centre, also contains Joey’s Fish Shack and a bookstore.
