Langley Events Centre packed with sports, music, markets this August

LANGLEY — The Langley Events Centre is serving up a loaded order of sports and entertainment with a side of family-friendly fun over the next few weeks of summer.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the events visitors can enjoy at the Centre this August:
- Vancouver Bandits Playoff Push (Aug. 3, Aug. 14 or 16) – The Bandits are chasing their first-ever Canadian Elite Basketball League Championship after a record-breaking season.
- Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention (Aug 8–10) – 400 vendor tables with rare memorabilia and collectibles are abound, including an appearance by former Canuck Alex Burrows.
- Vancouver FC (Aug. 10, Aug. 13, Aug. 22) – The team is hosting three home games as they advance to the semi-final round for the Voyageurs Cup for the first time in history.
- Langley Community Farmers Market and the TOL Summer Concert Series (Thursday nights)
- Debut of the Langley Night Market (Daily from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.)
