YALE — Crews were on scene at a section of Highway 1 after a semi rolled over to the side of the road early Saturday morning (Aug. 2).

At 7:46 a.m., scanner traffic reported the vehicle incident west and southbound at Emory Creek FSR near Yale.

A BCEHS spokesperson told Fraser Valley Today that one ambulance with primary care paramedics and one ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded.

One patient was taken to hospital.

Pictures from the scene show the semi flipped into a nearby ditch. A nearby resident said they also heard a loud boom that shook their home at the time of the incident.
