Man threatens to kill woman’s barking dog, later arrested: Mission RCMP

MISSION — Mounties in Mission say a man has been arrested for assault and uttering threats after he pushed a woman to the ground because of the loud nature of her barking dog.
According to a social media post from the detachment, Mission RCMP say a woman was walking her dog along 1st Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15 when a man on the road became agitated over the woman’s barking dog.
Police say the man approached the woman and started waving a stick around, saying he was going to kill the dog if she didn’t leave the area. The man then lunged at a bag the woman was holding, and pushed her to the ground.
Mounties say when other people in the area came to see what the commotion was about, the man ran off. Police located him a short distance away and arrested him for assault and uttering threats. The woman was not injured.
