UPDATE: Woman wanted for child abuse sex material arrested in Alberta

UPDATE 7 P.M. WEDNESDAY: Abbotsford PD says Siobhan Kirby was arrested earlier today and remains in police custody.

ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford need help locating a 35-year-old female who previously had a warrant out of Chilliwack, but is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for multiple sexual offences.

According to a social media post published Tuesday, AbbyPD says 35-year-old Siobhan Kirby is currently wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for multiple sexual offences, including the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

Police suspect Kirby may have left British Columbia and could be in the Calgary area.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.

AbbyPD did not provide height or weight details for Kirby, but a Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers social media post from June 2024 suggests Kirby stands 5’3″, weighs 181 pounds, and has black hair and blue eyes. In June 2024, she was wanted by authorities for driving while prohibited x 2. Her parole jurisdiction was Chilliwack.
