Annual Classic Car Show raises over $18K for Chilliwack General Hospital
CHILLIWACK — A vintage car show by the Fraser Valley British Motor Club in June has wheeled in thousands of dollars for the Chilliwack General Hospital.
The club announced Wednesday (July 16) that its second annual Classic Car Show raised $18,596 this summer, supporting the Greatest Need fund for critical healthcare initiatives in Chilliwack.
“Our foundation is always grateful for Fraser Valley British Motor Club’s ongoing support in helping us achieve our goals in providing the best in health care for our community,” said Elizabeth Harris, Executive Director, Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF).
This year’s show featured 165 pre-1999 vintage cars in categories ranging from British and American to Imported and Modified. A raffle draw for a 2005 Mini Cooper was also held, along with music from the Sardis Drum Line.
