CVAA showcases annual free-for-all display in upcoming Chilliwack art exhibit
CHILLIWACK — It’s oil, it’s water, it’s textiles and scratchboards– the Chilliwack Visual Artists Association’s (CVAA) annual free-for-all exhibition and sale at the Odlum Brown Art Gallery is coming back this summer.
In the aptly named ‘Hot Art Summer’, artists are given a no-holds-barred approach, allowing them to let their imagination run as freely as possible to a medium of their choice.
“Whether it be painting in oils, acrylic or watercolour, drawing, mixed media, scratchboard, printmaking, textiles, photography or sculpture, there should be something for every gallery-goers taste,” wrote the CVAA.
“What better way to spend a summer afternoon than in our air-conditioned gallery enjoying a wide variety of art from artists doing what they do best.”
