Abbotsford pizza place and restaurant gets new face, menu as owner retires

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford residents passing by a certain block on McCallum Road may be shocked to find a community fixture renewed inside – and especially outside.

A yellow K & M Pizza sign in bold red lettering now stands where the former Dream Pizza once stood.

OrgBook BC records indicate that its predecessor, the pizza and Indian cuisine joint, has been in operation since March 2010. It was previously run by Sukh Sharma, but its new owners say he is now retiring.

“We just took over the restaurant,” said Manish Sharma. “[K & M] represents Krishan and Manish, the partners of the business.”

The Sharmas also own Himalaya Indian Cuisine, located at 2607 Ware St, approximately two kilometres from K & M Pizza.

Manish added that they plan to introduce more Indo-Chinese and Indian dishes to the menu while still retaining most of Dream Pizza’s original items.

K & M Pizza is located at 1990 McCallum Rd and opens from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
