Chiefs Sign Maximillian Brunner for 2025-26
The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the signing of 2006-born forward Maximillian Brunner for the upcoming season. Born in Bogen, Germany, Brunner had a very busy season last year playing for his club team Iserlohner EC U20, while also playing games for Germany at the U19 championships and suiting up for the Iserlohn Roosters in the DEL for 8 games. In 32 games with his club team last season, Brunner scored 24 goals and was counted on to lead his team offensively. He will bring scoring acumen, excellent speed, and creativity to the Chiefs this coming season.
“We are really happy to acquire a player of Maxi’s skill level for this coming season.” Said Chiefs Associate Coach and Director of Hockey Development Brad Rihela. “He was a standout player amongst his peers last season. His speed is something that our fans will notice right away, and his skill level and creativity will bring a lot to our group this year.”
“I am very excited to join the Chilliwack Chiefs and to take the next step in my hockey career in the BCHL- one of the best development leagues in North America. The coaching staff, the facilities, and the strong culture here are the perfect environment for me to grow as a player and as a person.” Said the left-shot forward before adding, “My main goal for this season is to contribute as much as I can to the team’s success every day. I can’t wait to get started and to meet the team, the fans, and the entire Chilliwack community.”
Welcome to Chilliwack, Maxi!
